The Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator, under the supervision of Dr. Joel Kramer, will have the opportunity to delve into cutting-edge research on identifying the biological and lifestyle factors that contribute to resistance and residence to Alzheimer's disease and related neurodegenerative diseases. This position is part of an NIH-funded project that follows hundreds of community dwelling elderly. The assistant CRC will be responsible for assisting with our outreach efforts in the Spanish-speaking community, scheduling in-person visits, scheduling blood draws, MRI scans, and neurological evaluations, carrying out cognitive assessments, scheduling ancillary studies like PET scans, Fitbit monitoring, and remote cognitive assessments. Assistant CRC duties will include (but are not limited to) data entry and data management, scheduling/recruitment of participants, CHR/IRB upkeep, and managing the day-to-day function of the projects.
