Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Charlotte, NC (100% Onsite)

Duration: October 19, 2026 – December 31, 2027

Type: Contract 14 months

Position Overview

The Business Analyst will contribute across the definition, requirements, design, build, and delivery phases of a project or program. This role builds a working knowledge of the company, its processes, and its customers - then uses that understanding to analyze business processes, identify requirements, and propose solutions that meet the organization's needs. The Business Analyst will solve a range of well-defined problems using standard procedures, understand key business drivers, and apply that understanding across project planning, testing, and implementation. While the role carries no supervisory responsibilities, the Business Analyst may provide guidance and support to newer associates.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Documentation

• Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings with stakeholders to elicit business requirements
\n
• Document requirements clearly and completely, ensuring traceability throughout the project lifecycle
\n

Business Process Analysis

\n
• Analyze current-state business processes to identify gaps, ineffiences, and improvement opportunities
\n
• Develop process maps, flowcharts, and other visual representations to illustrate both current and future-state processes
\n

Solution Design & Evaluation

\n
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define solution options
\n
• Evaluate the feasibility of proposed solutions and support decision-making with structured analysis
\n

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

\n
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders across the project lifecycle
\n
• Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure shared understanding
\n

Project Support & Collaboration

\n
• Provide support to project teams and collaborate with cross-functional groups to ensure alignment and successful delivery
\n
• Participate in project planning, testing, and implementation activities
\n

Qualifications

\n
• Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process documentation
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate solutions using standard procedures
\n
• Working knowledge of process modeling techniques and tools (process maps, flowcharts)
\n
• Solid understanding of how business drivers shape project outcomes
\n
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable facilitating interviews and workshops
\n
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and guide newer team members as needed
\n

Nice to Have

\n
• Prior experience in financial services or banking environments
\n
• Familiarity with standard BA tools (Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent)
\n
