Job Title: Patient Care Technician Profession: Patient Care Tech Specialty: Float Pool | Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Evenings Hours per Shift: 37.5 hours per week Experience: 1 year License: Not required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) via NHA Must-Have: Required certifications Description: Unit notes: Cancellation policy allows for flexible shift management. Cancellation of up to 1 shift is permitted per 4-week assignment. Cancellation of up to 2 shifts is permitted per 8-week assignment. Cancellation of up to 3 shifts is permitted per 13-week assignment without penalty. Charting system utilized is Allscripts. Trauma level is appropriate for acute care settings. This position is essential for providing direct patient care in a telemetry environment. The role requires the ability to assist with monitoring vital signs and patient comfort. Applicants must be certified and hold the mandatory BLS certification.
